Merry late Christmas to all!

I just wanted to tell everyone Merry Christmas, even though it is the day after Christmas. As most of you know I’ll be leaving to St. Louis tomorrow for Urbana, and I’ll be returning next year; well actually in a week on January 2nd. And I have to apologize to all of you for not wishing you all a very Merry Christmas; I was so busy trying to get my stuff ready to go.

Christmas for me was a bit of a juggling act. My family, because we cannot wait, celebrate Christmas the night before. It was so hectic. We had almost 20 people packed at my mom’s living-dinning room eating posole and then opening presents. On Christmas morning Lizzie’s family opens their gifts, so that didn’t conflict with what my family was doing, so that is a blessing.

Today I just need to finish packing and making sure I don’t forget anything, even though I know I will.

I’ll be using the new Cingular Myspace program on my phone to keep you all up-to-date on what is going on while I’m at Urbana so you know how to keep me in prayer.

Finished with another semester....cough cough!

Well another semester here at CCC has come and gone, but like some of us, I still have to finish work that should have been done ages ago. A paper here, a final there: it all seems to work like clock work every year. You plan on doing things differently, like doing your work diligently so you don't fall behind at the end of the year, but it never fails. You fall behind and you put things off; the spirit of procrastination takes over, and bam! its finals week again...

But I will once again venture to say that this is my last semester putting things off to the last minute. I will prevail next semester.

A few of us here in the dorms are thinking of doing a study night, or as I like to call it, stay in your own freeken' room night and do your home work. But I guess study night just has a better ring to it. So... this is how it works. Every Wednesday night we will be in our rooms, doing homework. That simple. One day a week. Every week. This way we are not caught off guard with term paper, midterms, and finals.

If you like, you could also join us. It is as simple as doing your home work every Wednesday night.

Watch for the ALL CAPS!

Well, every time it is time to eat it is like a battle between the forces of good and the forces of EVIL! We I know that I'm not a picky eater, and all other around me have their preferences, so I do what any gentleman would do and let the ladies deside. Well I guess this does not work for the woman folk... MY GIRL FRIEND IS STARING AT ME RIGHT NOW SAYING and I quote "Hurry and the 'F' up so that we can go" Then she helped me spell staring, because I'm an idiot. Yeah and Susie is here too, I only say this because I told her that up to this point I had not mentioned any names... Yes, and as you might have noticed, this is the same Susie from the amazing quote on my profile... Well I got to go before they bite my head off. I'll let you know what transpired maybe later.

ps. I would really just like Chinese
pss. My girl friend helped my spell 'Chinese'

It is too late!

Well I'm up right... And I should be asleep. But because I hate to read, and wait till the last minute to do my book reports for my class. I want to go to sleep so bad!

Well at least I'll be able to sleep in for the next week. I guess this makes up for it.

Why make the switch?

Those of you who know me know that I've only been using Myspace. But I see this as an opportunity to broaden my herizon. Or just a waist of time. Only because all my friends are still on Myspace, no matter how much we all dislike it shortfalls.
